Find me on
Maggie and Charlie, whose engagement session I blogged this summer, hosted a beautiful wedding at Omni Rancho Las Palmas last month. Their wedding day was full of emotion, vibrant pink floral arrangements, and tons of dancing to the sound of a lively LA-based band. As my last wedding of the year, I can safely say that I went out with a bang for Maggie and Charlie’s exciting celebration!

Maggie’s bridal details included gorgeous glitter Louboutin heels, classic bridal jewelry, and a luxurious letterpress invitation suite by Copper Willow. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the ladies of Copper Willow several times this year. I am forever in awe of their custom stationery. For her gown, Maggie chose a beautiful strapless Nicole Miller design, which paired perfectly with her classic bridal updo. After getting into her gown, Maggie was absolutely beaming. I love the moments my brides realize they are completely decked out in their wedding day look. They always say that once the gown goes on, everything feels incredibly real and exciting.

Omni Rancho Las Palmas Reception
Back at the Omni, Maggie and Charlie were surrounded by their closest friends and family in their bridal party. Maggie’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous dark teal gowns that looked beautiful with their pink bouquets. Currently in a trend of blush, white, and green, the wedding industry could definitely use more color like this wedding. After we completed the bridal party portraits, I took Maggie and Charlie throughout the property for their own portraits. We certainly took advantage of the last moments of natural light in the desert. The Omni Rancho Las Palmas features so many unique portrait locations, you could easily spend a whole day shooting a couple there. It’s absolutely magical.

Beautiful!
Thank you :-)
