If you didn’t catch Part One of Brian and Melissa’s wedding at Azul Beach Resort in Negril, Jamaica, definitely browse it first then come back here. Today’s installment of the wedding includes sunset portraits, the reception, and a day after portrait session.

Sunset Portraits
For their post-wedding party sunset portraits, we slowly made our way from lush palm trees to the beach. The lighting was so beautiful at this time of day and thankfully there was no sign of rain. Brian and Melissa were all smiles despite the Jamaican heat. They really were so joyful the entire wedding day and were such a pleasure to work with.

Reception
For their reception, their dined inside one of the property’s restaurants before heading to the beach for a bonfire and dancing. The group enjoyed a plated three course dinner and then an open bar with snacks for the beach portion of the evening. It was such a fun experience to photograph a beach bonfire and all of the guests loved being able to dance on the beach all night long.

Day After Session
The day after the wedding, Melissa and Brian had arranged for a romantic sunset dinner on the beach and booked me for a portrait session right before the dinner. It was such a charming and adorable portrait session with images taken around the property. Thankfully we had perfect weather and lighting for the entire hour! Whenever you’re considering a destination wedding, I highly recommend booking your photographer for a portrait session in non-wedding attire before or after the wedding day. It’s a great way to capture more portraits in the destination, especially since the wedding day doesn’t always allow for a ton of time for couple’s portraits.

Thank you to Brian and Melissa for choosing me to document your day. David and I had a wonderful time capturing your wedding events and meeting your friends and family!
