Find me on
I couldn’t be more thrilled to share this tropical Carlsbad private estate wedding shoot at Paradise Shores with you guys and gals. Planned and designed by Couture Events, this inspiration is full of painted pineapples, donuts, and palms at this gorgeous venue.
Last Thursday, this shoot was actually featured on Ruffled, one of my favorite modern wedding blogs. I’ll talk more about that tomorrow, though!

I’ve always admired the work of Posh Paperie. Their modern and feminine wedding stationery designs paired so flawlessly with our painted pineapples.
My dear friend, Lexi, created this stunning tropical bridal bouquet that’s out of this world! The colors, textures, and composition work together seamlessly in her design.
You did hear me when I said “painted pineapples,” right?
Our ceremony site had such a dreamy vibe for this tropical shoot. Couture Events will never cease to sway me with their designs. The work that the CE ladies create is incredibly cohesive and detail-oriented. That’s huge for planning luxury weddings.
These. Donuts. I may or may not have eaten one or two after we wrapped up the shoot. I didn’t even know that you could find these in San Diego and now I’m in love.
I truly couldn’t be any more amazed by this tablescape. Topped with painted pineapples, soft floral arrangements, air plants, and Root Cellar’s tasty eats, this is definitely one of my favorite reception designs to date.
Honestly, this boat was made for this shoot. Ok, not really, but it might as well have been.
Ending the evening with a little bridal boudoir has never looked this good. Thank you to the wonderful team of women who made this beachy shoot such a success!
