Find me on
If you loved Autumn and Stacy’s chic at-home engagement session, you’ll absolutely fall head over heels for their 849 wedding in Palm Springs. To say that the love between these two beautiful ladies is inspiring would be an understatement. They’re both very sophisticated, yet relaxed, and are perfectly balanced between Autumn’s more serious, but loves to laugh personality and Stacy’s more sarcastic and jokester personality. To be in the same room as them is such a treat, especially since they’re constantly laughing with or at each other!
I’m going to be totally honest and say that having two sets of bridal details to style and photograph is more fun than just one. I definitely consider that a detail-loving photographer’s dream! Two diamond rings, two pairs of heels, and two totally different and equally chic bridal outfits had me in heaven.
Considering how blazing hot it was that morning in Palm Springs, I opted to keep the first look and portraits indoors. When you have such a killer hotel lobby like I had with the Riviera, you just can’t be but thrilled to shoot these moments indoors with such gorgeous backdrops. Throw in two beautiful blondes and magic happens.
After departing the Riviera, everyone headed a few minutes down the road toward Eight4Nine for the ceremony and reception. With such a cozy and tropical atmosphere, everyone was relaxed and soaking up the sun before it dipped below the mountains and made for a gorgeous ceremony sky. During the ceremony, there were tears, smiles, and laughter – everything that makes a ceremony so beautiful.
Carrying over the tropical theme into the reception, the tables featured palm fronds and lots of gorgeous whites and blacks. It truly felt like a Palm Springs affair.
Autumn and Stacy, I have had such a wonderful time getting to know the two of you this year. Your wedding has truly left a mark on me and I am so honored to have been a part of your day. I wish you two ladies and your kiddos the happiest of marriage and family life.
