Elegant Tented Santaluz Club Wedding in San Diego
Patrick and Veronica’s elegant Santaluz Club wedding has to be one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve photographed to date. Not only was their decor incredibly gorgeous, their emotions and love completely won over my heart and that of every guest. Never have I photographed a man who loves a woman so strongly she moves him to tears while her calm demeanor and radiant beauty provides a perfect balance in their relationship. I can honestly say that Patrick and Veronica’s love is one of the most inspiring I have ever witnessed.
Veronica got ready for her wedding with the help of Erin from Unveiled Beauty. Her elegant accessories paired perfectly with her high bun. She looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful sweetheart gown from Panache Bridal. Meanwhile, Patrick spent the morning with his groomsmen at the Santaluz Club. When he realized that he didn’t have his cufflinks, his brother took off his own set to give to Patrick. Both Veronica and Patrick are very family oriented, so little moments like these are truly indicative of their relationships with their parents and siblings.
Tucked away in the USD campus, the Immaculata served as the location for Veronica and Patrick’s ceremony. Gorgeous architecture spans every inch of this stunning church, making it a beautiful spot for a wedding. As Veronica walked down the aisle with her father, Patrick and many guests cried tears of joy and happiness upon seeing her for the first time as a bride.
Before breaking for lunch, I photographed the newlyweds in the outdoor halls of the Immaculata. Pure and bright, the white walls of the hallways beautifully represents Patrick and Veronica’s love and I knew I had to photograph them there. Pair that location with incredible light and you have magical portraits!
Santaluz Club Portraits
After arriving at the Santaluz Club, gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom, as well as the bridal party, ensued. The colorful backdrops of the clubhouse gave us so many incredible location options. I particularly love the ivy-covered walls. I can’t resist them!
Santaluz Club Reception
For cocktail hour, a mariachi band performed Spanish songs which was a perfect Cinco de Mayo treat! I absolutely adore when couples infuse their culture into their wedding. It makes the day feel that much more special!
Inside the tented reception, jaw-dropping floral arrangements by Organic Elements swept across the round tables in the room. I Love You More Events did a stunning job of designing the wedding with elegant and classic decor choices. And let’s talk about that floral chandelier, shall we? It deserves it’s own blog! The evening itself consisted of hilarious toasts, perfectly rehearsed dances, and a remarkable amount of emotions.
Patrick and Veronica, you two are the best! Not only have you two been a delight to work with, you have also made me feel so loved and appreciated and I cannot thank you enough for that. You really are the perfect couple and your Santaluz Club wedding was such a favorite of mine!
