Find me on
This beautiful San Diego private estate wedding took place at the bride’s family home in Fallbrook, California. Teresa and Christian hit it off on their first date, during which Christian served homemade pizza and wine. They talked for hours and hours and the rest is pretty much history. Today I am so delighted to share images from their beautiful wedding, which Style Me Pretty published this past weekend.

The Wedding Day Morning
I asked Teresa to tell me about the proposal. She recalled, “Christian had no idea that he was proposing until the night before he did. Our ten month anniversary was the following night so we already had a date set when he got the message that the engagement ring was going to be delivered on that morning. It turned out to be a beautiful and private moment because I had told him months earlier that I didn’t want anything too orchestrated. He proposed at a nearby lake in a secluded canal area.”

Christian got ready at a home nearby the church and looked absolutely sharp in his classic black tuxedo.

The Catholic Church Ceremony
Teresa and Christian’s ceremony took place at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Oceanside. Due to Covid, it was outside the church in an area surrounded by beautiful olive trees.

Wedding Portraits of the Couple and Bridal Party
The lighting at Teresa’s home couldn’t have been more beautiful as we arrived back from the ceremony. Most of the couple’s and bridal party portraits were taken in this stunning area.

I adore that Teresa’s wedding day photos took place at her family home. How special!

San Diego Private Estate Wedding Reception
Teresa’s family home couldn’t have been a more stunning location for their reception. A turret with a gorgeous wooden door served as the entrance for guests to cocktail hour. Just through the walkway were a bar with mimosas and a floralized fireplace. Once guests moved to the backyard, they snacked on sushi appetizers by the pool.

Any wedding with Amorology will always have a unique escort display. For Teresa and Christian’s wedding, terracotta pots in various shapes, sizes, and colors revealed the seating arrangements. Once inside the reception, the guests would again see terracotta pots in the form of centerpiece vases and as little decorations made of icing on the wedding cake. The evening felt warm and cozy – perfect for an intimate wedding.
