Find me on
This jaw dropping Rancho Bernardo Inn wedding made its debut on The Knot last week. It was such a stunning wedding, I am so honored it was published on such a beautiful publication. After postponing for nearly a year, Erica and David finally had their big wedding celebration. You might recognize them from their engagement session or even their courthouse elopement. These two certainly know how to gorgeously grace my blog.

Getting Ready + The Details
Erica and David had a custom invitation suite commissioned by Four Things Paper with a beautiful map made from the property. Its pink tone gave guests a taste of the pops of pink that would be seen throughout the wedding decor and flowers for the ceremony and reception. For her gown, Erica chose a stunning Berta look that she wore with a curled updo. Her bridesmaids went crazy over it for their first look!

First Look and Portraits
David was in awe of Erica for their first look. They took a few sweet moments together before portraits began. We only had a short amount of time until we started photos of their large wedding party. Erica’s bridesmaids donned berry-toned dresses and David’s groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos. Everyone looked very chic for this formal wedding.

Rancho Bernardo Inn Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the Aragon lawn at Rancho Bernardo Inn. Native Poppy created an open circular arch floral installation for the vow area that was absolutely breathtaking. It set a beautiful stage for Erica and David to saw their personalized vows and have their first kiss.

Rancho Bernardo Inn Wedding Reception
When I say that walking into the Aragon ballroom for this reception took me aback, I am not lying. Kayla from Simply Gorgeous Events and Native Poppy truly outdid themselves in executing Erica and David’s design vision. The moody pink color palette spread across high and low floral arrangements was exquisite and the hanging floral installation over the dance floor was truly remarkable. Guests were in awe over the design and loved dancing under the flowers all night. The decor made a killer backdrop for when the lion dance made its mark on the evening! Truly a highlight of this magical night.

Erica and David, thank you for having me photograph so many of your life events. It’s been an honor and the wedding was truly a highlight!
