Find me on
Lauren and JB, who live in San Francisco, traveled to the desert this February to say “I do” at their La Quinta Resort wedding. Even their dog, Biden, traveled to Palm Springs to be a part of the lively celebration. Every second of this day was filled with the good kind of tears, cozy hugs, and sweet smiles. If you don’t fall in love with Lauren and JB’s wedding in the next few photos, I’d be surprised.

Getting Ready
When I first met JB and Lauren, I knew their wedding would become a solid favorite of mine. They’re just cool people and their laid back attitudes and appreciation for photography make them a photographer’s dream. Plus, they’re always so patient with my multitude of ideas for photos which, at a huge property like La Quinta, were basically endless.

Bridal Party
Full of mostly siblings and their closest friends, the bridal party absolutely rocked the desert chic look. The bridesmaids wore neutral gowns in different silhouettes and the groomsmen donned the neatest blue and white patterned ties. JB is no stranger to style, as he told me at their engagement session, so I was very excited to see what he would wear for the wedding. I was not disappointed!

La Quinta Resort Wedding Ceremony
The expansiveness of La Quinta Resort’s golf course reached into the distant mountains, which made for an incredible ceremony view. Every guest remarked at how gorgeous of a backdrop it was and couldn’t help but snap photos, especially of the breathtaking mountains. Lauren and JB said their vows in front of a triangular arch custom-built for their wedding. Gorgeous flowers and pampas grass, which moved beautifully in the light breeze, covered each side of the structure. Talk about a perfectly Palm Springs ceremony.

La Quinta Resort Wedding Reception
JB and Lauren, I have adored spending time with you this past year and I can’t wait to meet up with you two in SF again soon. I am so thankful to not only have you as clients, but also as friends.

Your photos are gorgeous! Do you know where the suit are from?
