Find me on
This Darlington House wedding in La Jolla took place this past December. The couple had a beautiful vision for their decor that was lush and neutral with tiny pops of color. It felt like a winter wedding without being too on the nose. I loved those kinds of December celebrations.

Personal Flowers & Details
This couple commissioned a custom wedding invitation suite with a gray and white floral envelope liner. The style was very soft and romantic with a classic design. For shoes, the bride wore ivory slingbacks from Franco Sirio for an understated look.

For their personal flowers, the groom chose a white ranunculus boutonniere and the bride carried a lush bouquet filled with white sweet peas, ranunculus, and roses mixed with subtle pops of warmth with blush and terracotta roses. Dressed in sage green velvet dresses, the bridesmaids held bouquets similar in color to the bride but just a touch smaller.

Darlington House Wedding Ceremony
Parker and Posies designed a large arch for the vow area. It featured white ranunculus, and roses carefully intertwined with blush and terracotta roses. To balance the flowers, smilax framed the rose arch.

Darlington House Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour, held in the courtyard of Darlington House, provided guests with several gorgeous food stations: chocolate fondue with dozens of dipping options and a seafood station including shrimp cocktail. A beautiful bar, inside the library, served personalized signature cocktails.

Darlington House Wedding Reception
Talk about a stunning Darlington House wedding reception! Parker and Posies lined the path leading to the impressive arch with candles. The arch itself featured an abundance of white, blush, and terracotta roses as well as smilax greenery and a few pops of burgundy dahlias. These dahlias brought a slight touch of moodiness to transition guests to dinner.

The wedding cake table was covered in a black linen and various sizes of tealights and larger candles in hurricanes. The cake itself had three tiers of textured buttercream with adornments of red and blush paper flowers.

Walking into the space, you’re instantly wrapped in a beautiful, moody setting with an abundance of gorgeous centerpieces made with greenery, white, blush, and burgundy flowers. It was truly a night to remember.
