.If you’re looking for a breathtakingly beautiful and intimate wedding, you’ll love this darling Lodge at Torrey Pines wedding. This luxurious resort is nestled in the picturesque La Jolla area of San Diego and provided the perfect backdrop for my sweet couple’s small and cozy wedding celebration.

The bride and groom chose The Lodge at Torrey Pines because they were drawn to the grand yet cozy feeling of the resort. They fell in love with the stunning views of the ocean, the serene atmosphere, and the incredible amenities that the Lodge has to offer. Plus, the food is so good – which is always important for a wedding!

Their micro-wedding was a stunning affair with less than 25 guests in attendance. About 95% of the guests flew in from across the country and some came from other continents to celebrate with the bride and groom. The ceremony took place in a private courtyard, where a harpist played a beautiful melody as the bride and groom said their personalized vows. The colors of the wedding were coral, peach, pinks, and dusty blue, which beautifully complemented the natural beauty of the rustic surroundings.

After the ceremony, the guests made their way to the Alfred Mitchell Ballroom for the reception. This space is smaller than the ballroom you might be used to seeing for Lodge weddings and it was perfectly suited to their smaller guest count. The ballroom was beautifully decorated with lush flower arrangements and hand-torn place cards with golden wax seals that matched those on the wedding invitations.

The bride and groom danced the night away with their closest friends and family. They even hired a group of Bollywood dancers to perform and teach the guests a few moves. I thought that was such a fabulous idea for a smaller crowd. It brought guests on the dance floor and involved them in something so special. The couple truly hosted such a thoughtful and beautiful wedding and I am so delighted to have captured it for them.
