Best Wedding Decision
Hiring a planner! I can literally count on one hand how many weddings I have attended in my life. My husband and I did not have the slightest clue where to start when planning our big day so we made the smartest decision we could have made, next to the cake choice of course– which was to ask for help. We made the decision to invest in our happiness with Couture Events and it made the entire process that much more enjoyable.
Wedding Regret
The only thing I wish I would have done differently in the time leading up to our wedding would be to have allowed myself to really celebrate that stage in our life when we were engaged. Everyone (and I do mean everyone) told us to enjoy every second of the planning process, but I tend to let anxiety get the best of me. Krystel of Couture Events who was our wedding coordinator did a wonderful job making our lives easy, but it was me who ended up rushing through certain things like the dress buying process. If I could go back, I would tell myself to LIVE IT UP because being engaged is almost as fun as your wedding day itself. It sounds cliche but you really do only get one chance at your first wedding– enjoy every anxious, exciting, emotional, and wonderfully bliss moment of it!
