Find me on
It’s no secret that I adore Marchesa gowns, so it only makes sense that when I design an editorial I borrow a gown from the fabulous New York City-based brand. These San Diego bridal portraits feature a bride with relaxed and natural makeup and hair to complement a stunning and elegant, yet organic Marchesa dress. Hochseitsguide actually published this dreamy editorial and I am so excited to see it on their blog.

Beauty
For this look, Alexis of XO Beauty Co gave the bride gorgeous large waves with beautiful volume. The makeup was fresh and natural – perfect for a bride who loves the look of organic luxury. I love that the waves mirror the curves of the bride when I pose her. It truly creates a very cohesive feminine style throughout the entire set of portraits.

Bouquet and Shoes
A bouquet with apricot, shades of pink, peach, and green lent a soft pop of color to the bridal look that I paired with blush pumps for a sophisticated touch. The texture of the bouquet mirrors that of the gown’s embellishments. Marchesa sure does know how to give a gown a texture that will make you swoon!
Invitation Suite
Last but not least, if a bride is dreaming of an apricot-inspired wedding palette, she’d love the invitation suite created by Four Things Paper. Calligraphy on the envelope and a stunning liner were just two pretty aspects of this romantic stationery set. Again, a feminine essence is so present in this inspirational shoot. Soft colors and organic textures create the dreamiest combinations of designs that make my creative heart so happy.
Thank you to the amazing vendors who brought my vision to life and a huge thank you to Marchesa for shipping me a gown all the way from New York. I couldn’t be more pleased with how beautifully these San Diego bridal portraits turned out.
