Find me on
I have been waiting so long to share this Hotel Marignan wedding inspiration shoot that I photographed in Paris back in May. It was published on Wedding Chicks Monday and I couldn’t be more excited to finally get it up on my own blog. With the help of some insanely talented and welcoming Parisian wedding vendors, we put together a rooftop wedding shoot that has the dreamiest views of the Eiffel Tower.
While some of the vendors spoke great English, others spoke very little, so I had the rare opportunity of learning from the challenges of working outside my comfort zone. When your model doesn’t speak fluent English, you definitely have to rely on body language and mirroring to achieve the look you want in their posing. Honestly, almost any pose would look great when paired with such a glorious Inbal Dror gown.
The design from planner Vanessa featured stunning and soft pinks that were paired with golds, grays, and whites for our Parisian tablescape. It doesn’t get much more chic and romantic than this. Despite a blazing hot day, we had such a gorgeous sky that was so beautiful it almost made us forget how hot we all were. Sadly, I had mostly packed pants and long sleeve tops, as the forecast had shown chilly weather. Travel lesson learned: Always pack an outfit for the opposite weather you expect! Of course, no shoot of mine would be complete without a little sugar. This unique beauty from Cupsicake blew us all away. The design is so intricate and detailed and I truly wish I could have shipped it back to San Diego to display in my office. It was too good. For brides getting married in Paris or anywhere in France, really, call me! Huge thank you to this A-list team of Parisian wedding vendors. It was such a dream working and collaborating with each of you.
