You guys know I love working with Stevi from Hey There, Cupcake! She and I teamed up with Sarah, the floral genius behind Catalina Neal, for a shoot centered around her modern wedding desserts. Each and every single cake and small dessert is absolutely darling and I couldn’t be more proud of the work that we made together.
Brace yourselves, though, you might want to have a full stomach before reading more!
We all met at Brick & Laurel, Sarah’s floral studio, for the shoot and began with Stevi’s cakes. The neat thing about opting for several smaller cakes is that you can have a unique design for each cake. It’s definitely a fun way to have a styled dessert table!
I can’t begin to say what my favorite dessert was (yes, I totally tried almost all of them!), but it might have to be the chocolate chip cookies. I’m a huge fan of thick, soft cookies with a big chocolate chip, so the ones Stevi baked were heavenly to my eyes.

Stevi’s macarons are beautiful. With varying sizes and colors, as well as flavors, these macarons pair perfectly together. I really do love the creativity that Stevi puts into her work. Her desire to be unique and have a standout product is so admirable, especially in a market where originality can be difficult!
