Are you ready for these Berkshires wedding venue tours? I know I am considering the stunning architecture of the Berkshires, a beautiful region of western Massachusetts with some very elegant wedding venues. This will be a two-part series with five different venues. I couldn’t share so much beauty in just one post, so today I’m revealing 3 of my favorite!
The Mount, Home of Edith Wharton
Last year, I visited The Mount for the first time and absolutely fell in love with its pastel colors, clean architecture, and historical charm. A perfect place to get married, with over 50 acres and limitless portrait opportunities, this home of the late author Edith Wharton is magnificent in every way.
Several destination brides and grooms get married at The Mount. It’s easy to see why you’d fly into Hartford or Albany and drive an hour to this charming estate. Full of greenery, character, and elegance, The Mount is utterly breathtaking. Two garden ceremony sites sit on either side of a beautiful grove of trees that are absolutely perfect as an aisle.

Cranwell Resort
Sitting atop an expansive golf course, Cranwell Resort hosts many luxury weddings for couples seeking a grand venue with beautiful scenery. Walking the Tudor-style property feels like you’ve been transported to England. It’s a fabulous hotel and wedding venue that’s met with spectacular dining in its restaurants.
Especially if your wedding party enjoys golfing, Cranwell is a perfect choice for an elegant wedding.

Blantyre Wedding Venue
Just a minute or two drive from Cranwell is Blantyre. With gorgeous ivy-covered walls, this resort also features Tudor-style architecture and is a wonderful wedding venue choice for a bride who loves a darker palette in her venue. I have to admit, with the greenery, it felt like I was in the Secret Garden. The wild, yet refined nature of the vines gives so much beautiful character to the property.
