It’s not often that I post non-wedding content, but when the details from Details Details are this good I simply can’t help but share. This lavish Montage Laguna Beach birthday party has the most darling Under the Sea themed design. With gorgeous shades of blue and even real fish, this is one party that shouldn’t be missed.
If you’ve not yet been to the Montage, it’s definitely a venue to add to your Sunday lunch list. With the most amazing views of the ocean, this property sits atop a coastal bluff and has over 20,000 square feet to explore. It’s simply breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset.
In addition to a few long farm tables, there were also a few adorable rounds that were adorned with blue balloons. I always love the mix of rounds and farm tables because each brings a different energy to an event.
Additionally, a casual lounge area was added to the lawn of the Montage for anyone who wanted to relax and get a little more cozy under an umbrella on this very sunny day.
I have saved my absolute favorite focal point for last. The incredibly gorgeous and colorful dessert table was backed by an ornate Under the Sea backdrop featuring the birthday boy’s name, as well as faux crabs and starfish hiding in seaweed and balloon bubbles. Honestly, who wouldn’t be excited to grab an octopus-decorated cookie, chic macaron, or cute crab-topped cupcake from this beautiful display? I could have photographed it for hours, as many of the guests did in between bites of sweets.
