Alicia of Details Details and Shawna of Shawna Yamamoto produced this gorgeous Montage Laguna Beach baby shower. The shower featured a sweet traveling theme and each place setting had a mini airplane as the cutest decor piece. It’s always such a treat working with the ladies of Details Details and Shawna. You always know the event is going to be elevated and cohesive! Even on an overcast morning, the Montage still looks so beautiful.
Likely because of the time and weather, the property was so quiet and peaceful. It has that laid-back elegance vibe that only an Orange County venue would have. Perfect for a grand baby shower, these vibes are why I love the Montage. It’s luxurious, yet not stuffy or stiff. I think that makes it an amazing place for weddings and parties of all kinds, like this birthday party I photographed this spring. 
As I work more and more in Orange County, I am so delighted for the drives up there. Why? I’ve gotten really into podcasts lately! I’ve finished both seasons of Serial and S-Town (fun fact: I went to undergrad at the same place as John B). Now, I’m listening to The Dollop, a hilarious podcast in which two comedians discuss a piece of history. I can’t listen to podcasts during work because they’re either too distracting from my work or my work distracts from the podcast. That’s why I am loving my solo drives these days. They make the perfect opportunity to enjoy them! I would appreciate any recommendations you have for more podcasts. Just leave them in the comments!
