Find me on
Every single time I photograph an Isari floral workshop I always notice that the students are just as enamored by Tam’s designs and teachings as I am. This fall-themed workshop included not only a holiday centerpiece instruction but also a discussion on tabletop design. Every single detail was brilliant!

With a gorgeous wooden table and bench seating, this tablescape looked immaculate and flawless. Moody and intimate, the table was adorned with candles and organic floral arrangements featuring a seasonally appropriate color palette.

The warmth of the color palette provides a cozy atmosphere for guests, especially when paired with the wool-textured table runner. Although it’s only October, I immediately felt like it was Thanksgiving the second I stepped into Tam’s studio.

Onto the centerpiece design…Tam had each student start with a specific grouping of flowers. Each set built upon the ever-growing design of each student’s creation. With a little expert help from Tam, all of the ladies produced an exquisite centerpiece for their dinner table.

Last year, I attempted to create my own Thanksgiving centerpiece. It was a complete disaster and now has me wishing I had a few classes with Tam under my belt!

Although I’ll probably stick to purchasing from the experts, it is always so much fun to learn how to create works of art with your bare hands. Tam does an excellent job of instructing and explaining how to create in a way that is still from your own ideas. You can find her classes here. Keep an eye out for when the 2017 schedule is released. You might even want to buy a season pass ;-)
