3rd Annual Cavin Elizabeth Vendor Bash at the New Children’s Museum

Each year, I host a large and beautiful gathering of wedding professionals from San Diego and Orange County. I call it the Cavin Elizabeth Vendor Bash and its third year event just took place at the New Children’s Museum downtown. For this year, I decided to design the event around the idea of a brunch-themed engagement party. A beautiful color palette of pastel yellows, peaches, pinks, and mints tied each and every detail of the bash together. Defying typical seasonal colors was a whole lot of fun. It was incredibly refreshing to experience the fun of spring and summer in the dead of San Diego “winter.” No matter the season, everyone would love and appreciate a colorful brunch party. Two gorgeous modern lounges provided a gorgeous focal point for either end of the space, adorned with bookshelves that housed the cutest of details and would be perfect for your photos and photo albums together as a couple. Large, soft floral arrangements perfectly complemented the cozy and intimate mood of the lounges and further introduced color and softness into the event. A beautiful dessert display in front of a custom painted backdrop featured passion fruit tartlets, raspberry macarons, festive cakes, and many other beautiful sweet treats. Accompanied by a three-tiered cake pop display, the dessert area was absolutely the most frequented spot of the entire event for the sweet-toothed guests. To truly make this a brunch-themed event, mini pancakes, mini chicken and waffles, and other adorable eats graced the catering display. You couldn’t have a brunch event without mini foods! Mimosas and bellinis, also in keeping with the brunch theme, were customized by a fruit of choice and were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
