Red Rock Engagement | Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

Oh my goodness! I am so excited to share this beautiful Red Rock engagement session with Jeff and Bailey with you all. A few weeks ago, these two flew me to Vegas for this incredibly epic landscape-filled shoot. Red Rock Canyon is absolutely one of the coolest parts of Vegas and I am so glad I was able to travel there to photograph these lovebirds and their two pups.

I always recommend bringing pups along to shoots, as they are such a part of the family. Thankfully, we had help from two of Jeff and Bailey’s friends to watch Enzo (left) and Sammy (right) in between shots. I absolutely encourage having a little doggy help if you’re planning on bringing your pups to your session.Engagement couple with two dogs, Red Rock Engagement Las Vegas

Red Rock actually holds a special place in Jeff and Bailey’s hearts, as it’s where they got engaged. They went hiking one day and while Bailey was about ready to head back to the car, Jeff wanted to push forward to find the most beautiful place to propose. I can’t think of a better location for a proposal!Wide landscape shot with couple in Las Vegas, Red Rock Engagement

Bailey’s white dress and brown leather heels paired gorgeously with the tones of the rock formations. Plus, dresses are always a great idea for sessions. Why not dress up a little for your engagement photos!? I can’t wait to see what her gown will look like for their wedding at Indian Wells later this year. Red Rock Engagement Las Vegas, groom helping bride down from a rock, adorable candid engagement photo

Bailey’s rose gold engagement ring looks beautiful with her skin tone and hair. I’ve always loved rose gold and Bailey certainly wears it well!

To showcase the beauty of Red Rock, I definitely focused on capturing wide shots that gave Jeff and Bailey just enough of a presence while emphasizing the rock formations and surrounding mountains. When shooting in locations with gorgeous landscape, this is always a must!

I suggested that Bailey and Jeff pick up their pups to have some fun. While Sammy might not have been super thrilled, a lighthearted and precious photo ensued. It’s so important to show real emotions and moments in engagement photos. I love to show my couples’ personalities in images and not just pretty poses. It makes for a very personalized session with meaningful snaps. Hilarious photo of a couple holding their dogs during an engagement session at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas Close up photo of a gorgeous redhead bride during an engagement session, candid hug photo

Oh Vegas mountains, you’ve certainly stolen my heart. I hope I have another Red Rock engagement soon because there’s just nothing like mountains and the desert to make shots more romantic. Ultra wide landscape photo during a Red Rock Engagement Las Vegas Couple walking together during their engagement photo session at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas

Thank you Jeff and Bailey for having me out to Vegas for your Red Rock engagement session. It was an absolute joy and adventure spending the afternoon with you two and your furry kiddos. Can’t wait to see you two again in December in Palm Springs!Moody black and white engagement photo taken from above the couple
