Find me on
Grace and John’s private estate Beverly Hills engagement photos couldn’t be more adorable. Their dog Leo adds so much charm and preciousness to this session, it’s almost too cute! For their session, they wanted me to capture primarily candid images. I love the movement in their photos – it really captures emotion and the spirit of their personalities.

For their at-home portion of the session, I suggested Grace and John make cocktails since it’s an activity they enjoy doing together often. Engagement photos are more personalized when they represent authentic pastimes! Once the cocktails were made, they sipped them in the courtyard before bringing their pup Leo outside for a mini walk.

Once Leo was outside he essentially became the star of the show. He is easily one of the most photogenic dogs I’ve ever photographed. I barely had to work to get his attention – he just looked right at the camera for each photo.

Beverly Hills Hotel Engagement Photos
After leaving their home, we went to the iconic and stunningly pink Beverly Hills Hotel. It’s a favorite spot of mine for photos because it’s full of fun colors and backdrops. It was a quiet day at the hotel with few people around. Grace and John had an outfit change for this location that was a casual-cocktail chic look. I just love the feathers on Grace’s outfit – so fun!

Stay tuned for Grace and John’s wedding at Rancho Valencia this weekend. Photos to come in just a few weeks and I know they will be amazing because the wedding is planned by Lauryn Prattes Events and floralized by Plenty of Petals. I’ve already seen the invitation suite and it is absolutely heavenly so I just know the rest of the wedding day will be a dream!
