WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE VIDEOS
Last week, Maggie and Charlie braved the 110 degree heat of Palm Springs for their Omni Rancho Las Palmas engagement session, which they totally rocked. Set to get married there in November, they wanted to explore the property and take advantage of its gorgeous features for their engagement photos.
Maggie and Charlie, two sharp lawyers from LA, both share a contagious amount of passion for life, family, and love. Watching the way they smile at each other and listening to the sweet things each has to say about their relationship, I became totally in awe of them. Their chemistry has a very classic vibe that anyone would find sweet.
Making our way through the lush settings of the Omni, we found so many stunning little pieces of the property that made for gorgeous backdrops. Often, my favorite engagement spots are those that are likely overlooked by most people. I love finding interesting and unexpected places with amazing light to use for my backdrops. Wherever “everyone takes pictures” is usually where I don’t want to be and I think that’s why my couples love their images so much.
It wouldn’t be a proper blog if I didn’t also mention how much I adored their outfits. For their first look, Charlie wore a sleek, dark ensemble and Maggie looked radiant in a chic white dress with black Louboutins. My couples always have such amazing style!
For their second look, Maggie and Charlie dressed formally in a colorful hi-low floral print gown and sophisticated suit, respectively. The way Maggie’s dress responded to movement with every step she took photographed beautifully. 
Maggie and Charlie, you two did such an amazing job during your session, especially considering the 100 degree heat. I absolutely cannot wait to photograph your wedding in November and meet your friends and family. It’ll be a beautiful day!
