Find me on
Brieze and Peter, who live and work in San Francisco in the medical and technology fields, traveled to Palm Springs for their La Quinta Resort engagement photos. They get married at the Miramonte later this year and were in town for a tasting. Because they got engaged at La Quinta, I suggested it as the perfect location for their engagement session.

La Quinta Resort Engagement Photos
As you can see, Brieze’s ring is such a showstopper. Not only is it striking and gorgeous, it also has a very sentimental story behind it. Brieze’s mother was a fine jewelry designer and had planned to design her daughter and son-in-law’s rings. Sadly, she passed away last April and was not able to create the jewelry for the loving couple. In her honor, Peter designed Brieze’s engagement ring with a carat count that matched her mother’s birthday. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ring with a story that made my teary eyed until I saw Brieze’s. Her ring holds so much beauty in every way.

The seemingly never ending row of cypress trees greets you as you enter La Quinta’s property. The trees provide so much warmth and visual interest in images that I couldn’t help but photograph Peter and Brieze there before moving deeper into the property.

Cactus Garden and La Quinta Mountain Views
One of my favorite areas of La Quinta is nestled among its Spanish villas. Gorgeous white walls with blue window frames give the area total vacation vibes. It was back in this area where Peter actually proposed to Brieze, so it’s even more beautiful!

Eventually we made our way to the gold course where you feel embraced by the desert mountains. These views truly couldn’t be more romantic and the perfect spot to end the engagement session!

Stay tuned for Brieze and Peter’s wedding at Miramonte later this November!
