Find me on
I was recently in Atlanta for a wedding and an engagement, so it felt only natural to fit in an anniversary session for the two friends of mine that hosted me while I was in town. Kristen is an old friend of mine from my high school years who I hadn’t seen in around 8 years and her husband of 5 years, Chris, is a native Australian whose positive and cheery nature could put anyone in a great mood. Their downtown Roswell anniversary photos are just the most charming representation of how adorable they are!
With the streets of the historic Roswell being very much packed with Labor Day crowds, we searched for little pockets of beautiful light in private nooks off the main street. I love how in the quiet settings, I am always able to produce the most relaxed and effortless portraits.
As we walked further down the main street of historic downtown Roswell, we came across Founder’s Hall, which is apparently a wedding venue. It’s Southern charm is absolutely so quaint and adorable. Of course it had to be a backdrop in Kristen and Chris’ session!

Before departing back to their house for a night of tasty Chinese food (which San Diego is totally lacking in my area!), eating Halo Top, and watching The Office, we explored one more street whose lighting was out of this world. The way it hit the cobblestone road and shined through the trees was so soft and glowy that I couldn’t have ignored such a glorious spot.
